Golden Milk / Turmeric Latte
Pacifies Vata - Pitta
Delicious Ayurvedic drink helping to relax and fight stress. Also very good for sleep. 
Ingredients
  • Fresh Ginger

  • 3-4 cloves

  • 3-4 cardamom pods

  • 1 star anis (optional)

  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or nut based)

  • Honey / Jaggery / Cane sugar (optional)

 

Instructions:

  1.  Add the spices and the milk in a pan on medium heat

  2.  Add fresh grated ginger to the mix

  3. Let it simmer. Do not boil. 

  4. Remove from fire and let it cool for a few minutes

  5. Serve and sweeten to taste
