Golden Milk / Turmeric Latte
Pacifies Vata - Pitta
Delicious Ayurvedic drink helping to relax and fight stress. Also very good for sleep.
Ingredients

Fresh Ginger

3-4 cloves
-
3-4 cardamom pods

1 star anis (optional)

1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder

1 cup milk (dairy or nut based)

Honey / Jaggery / Cane sugar (optional)
Instructions:

Add the spices and the milk in a pan on medium heat

Add fresh grated ginger to the mix

Let it simmer. Do not boil.

Remove from fire and let it cool for a few minutes

Serve and sweeten to taste
