Spiced Cooked Apple Pear Breakfast
Pacifies Vata - Pita -Kapha 
  • Fresh Ginger

  • 3-4 cloves

  • 4-5 cardamom pods

  • 1 Tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1 organic apple

  • 1 organic pear

  • Honey / Jaggery / Cane sugar (optional)

  • Fresh grated / desicated coconut (optional)



  1. Peel the apple and pear. Slice and cover with water.

  2. Crush cloves and cardamom

  3. Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and grated ginger to water

  4. Let is cook for about 5 minutes, covered

  5. Remove from fire and let it cool for a few minutes

  6. Serve the cooked fruits with the juice, add coconut on top and sweeten to taste
