Spiced Indian Masala Chai Tea
Pacifies Vata - Kapha
Ingredients
  • Fresh Ginger

  • 3-4 cloves

  • 4-5 cardamom pods

  • 1 Tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or nut based)

  • 1 Tbs loose black tea

  • Honey / Jaggery / Cane sugar (optional)

 

Instructions

  1.  Bring 2 cups of water to boil

  2. Crush cloves and cardamom

  3. Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and grated ginger to water

  4. Reduce heat and add tea

  5. Let it cook for about 5 minutes

  6. Add milk

  7. Let it cook for about 1-2 minutes

  8. Remove from fire and let it cool for   a few minutes

  9. Serve and sweeten to taste
